FOOD SECURITY AND SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURAL PROJECT – KIBOKONI

Important visit of Second Vice President of Zanzibar Hon. Seif Ali Iddi on Sunday, June 6, 2014 to Pemba Island On his regular visits to development projects in Pemba Island, this time he got an opportunity to visit our project in Kibokoni. During the visit of Agricolture Project status, the second Vice President was extremely impressive to everybody among the Government officers present. The Second Vice President in responding to different speeches by P.S., Officer In Charge, D.C. and IdCF Representative he admit that the initiative of the project was superb and he is optimistic that if the members of the cooperative will follow exactly the technical guidance of the experts then poverty will be minimized by great margins. He also proposes to focus on irrigation rather than depending on rains only. He thanks Ivo de Carneri Foundation leadership for the initiative and thanked also the Province of Trento for their financial support.
