Two Prestigious Awards…
Dear readers,
On Friday, November 23, 2018, the Commune of Cles (birthplace of Professor Ivo de Carneri) awarded Dr. Alessandra Carozzi de Carneri, president of the Foundation, with two important awards. The first is the Tavola Clesiana, posthumously dedicated to Professor Ivo de Carneri for his scientific achievements, and for his representation of Cles in both Italy and in the rest of the world.
The second is honorary citizenship of Cles, given for Dr. Carozzi de Carneri's 24 years of cooperation projects on the Island of Pemba. Furthermore, the Commune of Cles will officially dedicate a street to the memory of professor Ivo de Carneri.
All of this would not be possible without Dr. Carozzi de Carneri, her family members, and YOUR dedication.
In Pemba we have done many great things... And together with you, we will continue to do so!
